Maker: Jones George Pattern: Abbey
Item AB30 in George Jones catalogue and shape 382. This size is not documented in the catalogue having a diameter of about 1½” larger than the largest size shown. It really is quite spectacular.
Backstamp: Abbey 1790 England Geo Jones & Sons.
From the outside this looks to be in superb condition, however inside to the base there are a couple of hairlines and underneath a star hairline, making this a piece for display only.
