Maker: Jones George Pattern: Abbey
An unusual octagonal stand.
Backstamp: George Jones & Sons England Abbey 1790.
Light all over crazing and underneath there is a manufacturing chip (glazed over) to the inside rim of the foot which has resulted in a hairline. Probably has never seen active service as there is barely a scratch to the surface.
