An unusual dish which almost certainly would originally have had a cover. It is possibly an item in the George Jones trade catalogue called an oblong baker.
Backstamp: George Jones & Sons Abbey 1790 Made in England.
A little surface scratching otherwise excellent condition.
Dimensions: 29 cm x 19.5 cm and 4 cm deep / 11.5 ins x 7.75 ins and 1.5 ins deep
