Maker: Jones George  Pattern: Spanish Festivities

This is a wonderful large charger with lovely floral border surrounding the central scene of children at play. This charger bears a backstamp identifying the pattern as Costumbres Espanoles, but that design has a different border and we have only seen one view, which is of a bull fight. We have therefore classified this as Spanish Festivities and assume the names were interchangeable or the backstamp to have been an error.
Backstamp: blue printed oval garter mark, with Costumbres Espanoles, impressed Crescent GJ and date code for September 1927.
There is a little minor surface scratching, otherwise excellent condition.
