Maker: Kent  Pattern: Ye Olde Foley

Made by James Kent of Longton and Fenton and decorated amidst the foliage with two vignettes of romantic rural scenes, rather mid-European in appearance. An extraordinary shape is the only way to describe this jug or pitcher, which manages to combine a sense of Medieval with a hint of Art Deco.
Superb condition with hardly a mark on it.
Impressed No 1 and 8" and typical blue printed globe and crown backstamp J Kent, Fenton, England, Ye Olde Foley Ware, Great Britain.
