Maker: Minton Pattern: Chinese Marine
Minton introduced Chinese Marine about 1825 and this series of stylized Chinese landscapes became immensely popular and remained in production for several decades. Notable for its fine engraving, distinctive floral border and white gadroon-edge. Blue printed cartouche backstamp including a cursive M for Minton, 1822-1836.
This is a stunning piece in amazing condition. White gadrooned rim around the top, centre and foot. Two side handles. Beautifully decorated both inside and out.
