An amazing and most unusual vase with a scene and text William Penn's Treaty with the Indians, 1683 "It was the only treaty never sworn to and the only one never broken" on one side and "Ride of Paul Revere April 18th 1775" on the other. The vase is drilled in the base for conversion to a lamp.
Backstamp: Made in England.
There is a little minor wear underneath. On the Paul Revere side at 11 o'clock there is a small hole, which actually looks like a blob of blue ink! Other than that this is in excellent condition and still shines like new.
Dimensions: 30.5 cm high, base 13.5 cm x 10 cm / 12 ins high, base 5.25 ins x 4 ins
