Made in England. Blue printed backstamp: The Spode Blue Room Collection - The Tiger Cages. Originating from a hand engraved copper plate. Spode. Made in England. This design was introduced in 1837 by Robinson, Wood & Brownfield. Spode acquired the copper printing plates, when William Brownfield & Sons closed down in 1900. Brand new and first quality china, which is dishwasher and microwave safe.
This item has been discontinued by Spode, but limited stocks remain available.
