Also known as Bird & Grasshopper pattern. Stone china with gilt. This pattern was first introduced around 1812 and is based on a Chinese porcelain design dating from 1770. Absolutely fabulous comport in superb condition. Blue printed backstamp Copeland China seal mark with pattern number 1/1761 in script.
