Maker: Spode Pattern: Rhine
Rhine was originally a Davenport design introduced about 1833 and Spode bought the copper engravings in 1888 after Davenport ceased trading. The pattern name was changed to Severn from 1939 and reverted back to Rhine in 1947.
Backstamp: Copeland Spode England Rhine.
Light crazing otherwise excellent condition.
