Maker: Spode Pattern: Trophies
Fabulous tureen printed in a dark steely blue, with fabulous lion head side handles and pine cone finial to the cover. Made for Mortlocks of Oxford Street. Trophies or Fitzhugh design with Temple Landscape border but without the central panel.
Backstamp: Seal mark Spode Copeland England Manufacturers Stoke on Trent, Mortlocks Oxford Street.
Mostly in excellent condition and shines like new, however the finial has at some time snapped off and been refixed by inserting a metal rod, which is only noticable from underneath!
