Maker: Spode  Pattern: Tower

This is a most unusual piece A stone china cache pot with the addition of embossed decoration around the rim, shoulder and base. There is some surface scratching inside to the base and a star hairline underneath which does not appear to go through to the inside. The printing is not of the greatest quality giving it a flow blue appearance in parts. Overall an impressive and unusual piece. N.B. As this is stone china the background is grey rather than white. Blue printed oval backstamp and Impressed COPELAND ENGLAND
