Maker: Spode Pattern: Tower
Bone china with gilt. This is an absolutely gorgeous plate, rather like a very shallow bowl.
Backstamp: Blue printed Copeland Spode's Tower England, green printed Copelands China England, in script Y262 0 and impressed date for 1903. These backstamps are something of a puzzle as they contradict each other for the date of this piece.
Excellent condition.
Dimensions: 23.5 cm / 9.25 ins
