Maker: Wedgwood  Pattern: Fallow Deer

Charming rural scene with two fallow deer, repeated twice on lid, which has typical Wedgwood Prince of Wales' feathers finial. Tureen has part of scene repeated twice and bold floral border, has two side handles.
Some minor spots of staining internally. A chip on foot rim on one side, about 0.75 x 0.25 ins, is visible in the photograph, but can be out of sight when tureen displayed other way round, otherwise good condition.
Blue printed backstamp Fallow Deer, Wedgwood, Etruria, England and impressed Wedgwood with date mark for 1921.

Dimensions: 17.5 cm handle to handle 10 cm across / 7 ins handle to handle 4 ins across
