Maker: Wedgwood Pattern: Ferrara
Pale blue Ferrara. A delightful small teapot with wide floral border and floral border along the line of the handle. Ferrara is a port in northern Italy and Wedgwood had the design engraved in 1832 and production continued until the 1960s. The sailing ships were copied from an engraving of Liverpool Docks, England.
Backstamp: Ferrara Etruria England Wedgwood and impressed Wedgwood Made in England.
There is a little wear around the rim of the spout, a little minor mottling on the lid and a small hairline to the rim. Sounds much worse than it looks, this is a delightful little pot.
Dimensions: 0.4 ltr, overall height 10 cm high / 0.75 pint, overall height 4 ins
