Maker: Woods  Pattern: English Scenery

This is an unusual shape of teapot made by Wood & Sons to a patented design registered by Abram Allware Ltd. Apart from the shape of the pot, the novel features appear to be the fixing of the lid on the pot and the design of the gate, which is integral to the lid. Delightful water mill scene either side of the body and to the spout and cover.
Backstamp: Enoch Woods English Scenery Burlsey Ware England and embossed 2 pint.
There is a hairline to the spout with a little minor discolouration inside otherwise excellent condition.
