Bowl c1910

Wilkinson Jenny Lind Bowl c1910

Maker: Wilkinson  Pattern: Jenny Lind

A unusually large round bowl in the collected Jenny Lind design. She was a Swedish singer, who was born in 1820 and spent much of her career in England, where she died in 1887.
Produced in flow blue, this design was first made by Charles Meigh and Son and Arthur J Wilkinson (Royal Staffordshire Pottery) bought the printing plates and continued production.
There are a few lines of crazing in the glaze and some signs of use, but otherwise excellent condition. Bright and clean, a striking display piece.

Dimensions: 24 cm diameter 9 cm high / 9.5 ins diameter 3.5 ins high
