Maker: Unattributed Maker Pattern: Willow
One part of a cruet set, usually attributed to one of the potteries at Prestonpan in Scotland, but also produced elsewhere and later versions were made. This is an original from the 19th Century. The stopper is the top of his tricorn hat.
No backstamp.
Light all over crazing with a small hairline and very small blob of glase to the rim of the base. There is another hairline running down from the rim and to the hat two small glazing faults. Sounds much worse than he looks!
Dimensions: 16.5 cm high / 6.5 ins high
