Maker: Woods  Pattern: Castles

Woods Castles series has a beautiful floral and foliage border, which surrounds the castle scene, as if you are catching a glimpse through an opening in the forest. Depicted on this jug is the bridge and castle, which guards it, at Mostar in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Erected in 1566 on the orders of Suleyman the Magnificent the bridge was destroyed on 9 November 1993 during the civil war.
