This is a fascinating teapot! It has a unique feature of a hole at the tip of the spout,to prevent drips. Lovely rural scene either side of the pot with floral decoration under the spout, along the line of the handle and to the cover, all printed in a soft steely blue.
Backstamp: Woodland Wood & Sons Potters for 200 years Burslem England. Ralph 1750 Moses 1751 Enoch 1784.
The occasional minor pin prick in the glaze otherwise excellent condition.
