The scene depicts Nuneham Courtenay, Oxfordshire, the seat of the Earl Harcourt, set in grounds laid out by Capability Brown around 1780.
A few glazing blemishes and a hairline crack runs round part of foot but is superficial and does not detract from what is a bright and clean display piece.
