The scene depicts Nuneham Courtenay, Oxfordshire, the seat of the Earl Harcourt, set in grounds laid out by Capability Brown around 1780.
An absolutely gorgeous small platter printed in a soft blue with a lovely pearly glaze. There is a little very light minor staining around the stilt marks and minor signs of wear to a little of the inside rim. A beautiful example of this pattern.
