The scene depicts Nuneham Courtenay, Oxfordshire, the seat of the Earl Harcourt, set in grounds laid out by Capability Brown around 1780.
Lovely shape tureen with two loop side handles and central flower handle to the cover. Printed in quite a dark shade of blue for this pattern. The base has fine crazing with a little minor staining mainly around the top of the splayed foot so not very noticeable, but it remains bright. The cover has an under rim chip not noticeable when cover in place.
Dimensions: 15 cm x 11 cm / 6 ins x 4.25 ins
