Maker: Meir  Pattern: Italian Scenery

By John Meir & Son of Greengates, Tunstall. This lovely pattern printed in a pretty pale shade of blue has the delightful floral border decoration, both to the foot and around the inside of the tureen, and a classical Italian scene around the body. The cover has a Italian scene in the centre surrounded by the pretty floral border, which is inset with four charming vignettes. There is a cut out on the cover for a ladle.
No backstamp, but this is definitely John Meir's Italian Scenery.
