Maker: Unattributed Maker  Pattern: Grazing Rabbits

A most attractive oval basket, with pierced lattice work sides and loop side handles, in the rare and collected Grazing Rabbits pattern. Three prominent rabbits in the foreground with tree and flowers and thatched cottage and farmstead in the background. Floral border.
On close examination, the glaze is finely crazed, with a little light staining here and there. There is a small flake of glaze off the rim and a rub to one handle, but overall this is a bright and shiny piece in excellent condition.
No makers backstamp, as is normal with this pattern.
Highly decorative and desirable addition to any collection.

Dimensions: 28 cm handle to handle x 18 cm & 9.5 cm high / 11 ins handle to handle x 7 ins & 3.75 ins high
