Maker: Unattributed Maker Pattern: Wild Rose
The scene depicts Nuneham Courtenay, Oxfordshire, the seat of the Earl Harcourt, set in grounds laid out by Capability Brown around 1780.Oval dish in this popular pattern.
It has wear to the rim, particularly the bottom rim, light all over crazing and two small under rim chips. The stilt marks are quite evident, however the surface of the face is remarkably unscathed with barely a scratch to the surface. Overall a really lovely display piece.
Dimensions: 37.5 cm x 30.5 cm / 14.75 ins x 12 ins
