Maker: Rogers Pattern: Camel
The scene depicts the Gate leading to a Musjed at Chunar Ghur and is based on an engraving in Oriental Scenery by Thomas Daniell published in 1797. Chunar or Chunarghur is a town and ancient fortress in the district of Mirzapur in the United Provinces of India, situated on the south bank of the River Ganges.
Backstamp: Impressed Rogers.
A little minor surface scratching otherwise excellent condition.
