The scene depicts Nuneham Courtenay, Oxfordshire, the seat of the Earl Harcourt, set in grounds laid out by Capability Brown around 1780. Printed in quite a soft blue.
No backstamp.
There is a little surface scratching and light crazing and a small unglazed blemish to the face by one of the stilt marks. Overall a lovely plate.
Dimensions: 25 cm / 9.75 ins
