Maker: Davenport Pattern: Scotts Illustrations
Delightful little platter from a series by Davenport illustrating scenes from the works of Sir Walter Scott.
Backstamp: Scotts Illustrations Heart of Midlothian Davenport and impressed Davenport, anchor and date for 1852.
Light crazing with surface scratching to the face, some wear to the outer rim and a little roughness to the stilt marks. On the back there is some wear and discolouration. Sounds awful but overall this is a gorgeous little piece.
Dimensions: 24 cm x 19 cm / 9.5 ins x 7.5 ins
