Devonia shape dessert dish
No backstamp but we have attributed this to Spode.
Provenance: The personal collection of Gresham Copeland, passing by descent to his son Robert Copeland. Collection identification label on back AGC 649.
To the rim there are a couple of rough unglazed areas where it touched another in the kiln. Also to the rim there is a small horizontal hairline and a little discolouration. Underneath there is some wear and discolouration to the foot. Sounds awful, looks lovely!
