Maker: Minton Pattern: Queen of Sheba
This early Minton pattern is sometimes called Indian Queen and is believed to have been inspired by signs for 18th Century inns and shops, which went under names such as the Indian Queen, Old Indian Queen and Indian Queen and Star. A gorgeous small platter.
No backstamp, as is typical.
Light crazing to the glaze with just a hint of discolouration otherwise excellent condition.
