Maker: Pountney Pattern: Bristol Views Series
Bristol Views Series, with various views along the River Avon, is the best known pattern from the Bristol Pottery of Pountney. Made first by Pountney and Allies and later by Pountney and Goldney.
Backstamp: View near Bristol, River Avon.
This fabulous dish is crazed with some associated light discolouration. There is a little wear and a tiny rub to the glaze on the outer rim and a small manufacturing fault under the rim. Overall really good.
