Maker: Unattributed Maker Pattern: The Philosopher
This is a truly lovely early jug.
No backstamp.
It has under rim chip to the foot which just peeks through, a little wear to the rim and a small manufacturing fault on the lower third of the body. Overall a fabulous piece.
Dimensions: 1.65 ltr, 17 cm high / 2.75 pint, 6.75 ins high
