Maker: Unattributed Maker Pattern: The Philosopher
Lovely large ladle in this classical pattern.
No backstamp.
There is some wear to the rim of the bowl and just a little to the stem. Also underneath the stem and bowl a couple of minor firing faults. The pattern to the stem is a little patchy and inside the bowl a couple of manufacturing blemishes. Oh dear, this sounds awful, but it is a lovely ladle.
Dimensions: Bowl diameter 10 cm, overall length 30 cm / Bowl diameter 4 ins, overall length 11.75 ins
