Maker: Spode Pattern: Frog colour
Bone china with ochre rim. This pattern was specially commisioned from Spode by King George IV and was first used at his Coronation Banquet on 19 July 1821. An absolutely gorgeous dish printed in a rich cobalt blue and terracotta with gilt highlights and moulded side handles.
Backstamp: Spode and in script 3248.
