Maker: Spode Pattern: Frog colour
With gilt. Fabulous platter with indented ochre rim. Blue printed with hand applied colour and gilt decoration, on stone china. This pattern was specially commissioned from Spode by King George IV and was first used at his Coronation Banquet on 19 July 1821.
Backstamp: Spode Seal Mark, Stone China and in script 3248.
There is a little minor wear to the ochre rim and a little surface scratching otherwise excellent condition.
