Made by John Meir of Greengates, Tunstall active from 1812 and succeeded by John Meir & Son. Delightful English country scene.
Impressed backstamp MEIR.
Couple of small areas of wear to rim of bowl and border of plate, with a rim chip at 2 o'clock. On the back the foot rim has some minor nicks and chips. Some fine crazing to the glaze, but generally sound.
