Maker: Tams Pattern: Unidentified Pattern
Made by John Tams of Crown Pottery, Longton active from 1875 onwards. Pretty box with floral decoration to the cover and fluted detail to box and cover, with added gilt decoration.
Backstamp: Rd No 154350 and in script the pattern number 1299. The floral design was registered by Tams 1st August 1890.
Crazed with wear to the gilt.
