Maker: Tams Pattern: Unidentified Pattern
with gilt. An extremely ornate plate with superb embossed decoration to the rim surrounding the unusual central scene made by John Tams of Crown Pottery, Longton, Staffordshire.
Backstamp: impressed Rd 281324. Tams registered the shape of plate on 14 August 1896.
A little minor wear to the gilt otherwise excellent condition.
