Maker: Brameld Pattern: Castle of Rochefort
Made by Brameld at the Rockingham Works, Swinton, Yorkshire. The full pattern name is Castle of Rochefort South of France. Rochefort is a French seaport on the Bay of Biscay and is perhaps best known as the port from which Napoleon sailed into exile in 1815.
Backstamp: Impressed Brameld.
A touch of very light crazing, some surface scratching and just a little loss of glaze to the stilt marks.
