Maker: Morley  Pattern: Number 3 1131 colour

Fabulous stand with ochre rim and ornate embossed side handles highlighted with gilt. For a large tureen, but a lovely piece on its own.
Backstamp: Royal Arms and in red script 3 over 1131 and impressed registration diamond, within a circle containing the words Registered by F Morley May 31 1845.
The glaze is finely crazed and there is a little wear, otherwise excellent condition.
