Maker: Ridgway Pattern: Oxford and Cambridge College Series
A superb small platter showing Sidney Sussex College Cambridge surrounded by striking border with medallions containing a goat and cherubs.
Backstamp: Sidney Sussex College Cambridge Opaque China J & W Ridgway.
Light all over crazing with surface scratching, loss of glaze to the stilt marks, some discolouration although this is mainly on the back and the occasional minor manufacturing blemish - sounds much worse than it looks!
