A large platter from the extensive and famous series by John & William Ridgway, depicting many of the colleges and buildings in the universities of Oxford and Cambridge. Noted for the superb quality of the design and printing, each scene is framed by a striking border with medallions containing a goat and cherubs.

Light all over crazing with surface scratching and pitting to the face and a little wear on the back.
