Humphreys Clock is a series of views depicting scenes from Charles Dickens' stories. They are taken from magazine illustrations, in which Dickens' stories were first published. Ridgway & Co introduced a complete range of table and other wares in the 1840s, decorated with these scenes. This platter is decorated in a most charming scene.

Light all over crazing with just a little very minor discolouration, overall excellent condition and a wonderful piece.
