Maker: Anstice Horton and Rose  Pattern: Round Window

With gilt. This is either early earthenware or possibly heavily potted hard past porcelain. A lovely bowl, probably a slop bowl from a tea service.
No backstamp, but we have attributed this to Anstice, Horton & Rose of Coalport.
The gilt is very worn, and inside a little surface scratching and underneath a small hairline to the foot. Sounds much worse than it looks, this is a delight!

Dimensions: 16 cm diameter, 7.5 cm deep / 6.25 ins diameter, 3 ins deep
