Maker: Carey Pattern: Ancient Rome
A really lovely shape of ewer with a bold pattern of ruins and figures beside a fountain.
No backstamp but attributed to John Carey & Sons of Lane End, Staffordshire.
There is a little wear and a small nick to the rim, a couple of tiny unglazed spots to the body and underneath a little wear, overall excellent condition.
Dimensions: 2.4 ltr, 20 cm high / 4 pint, 8 ins high
