Maker: Bourne and Leigh Pattern: Asiatic Pheasants
The pretty shape and small proportions ensure these sauce tureens are lovely decorative items for display today.
It is always difficult to be sure that the cover and base started life together, but these are a good match.
The cover has fine crazing to the glaze and a little light staining, but nothing of note. The tureen is fine and overall this is in excellent condition.
Blue printed Asiatic Pheasants cartouche with the initials EB & JE L for Bourne & Leigh of Burslem.
Dimensions: 18 x 12.5 cm overall 13.5 cm high / 7 x 5 ins overall 5.25 ins high
