Maker: Burgess and Leigh  Pattern: Chinese Peacock

This is the original version of a pattern that later became Bluebird. Introduced in 1913 Chinese Peacock was produced on a variety of decorative shapes, such as this vase, which has added teracotta enamel and gilt decoration.
Usual blue printed back stamp plus pattern/shape number 42/1560. All over crazing to glaze and light staining to inside.
