Maker: Minton  Pattern: Chinese Dragon and Bird blue with colour

With gilt. A wonderful luscious combination of cobalt blue with green and terracotta highlights.
Backstamp: On stand Chinese Dragon & Bird M & Co England impressed Mintons and in script C4742 and printed registration mark for 1853 which was when the pattern was introduced. On tureen Mintons Est 1793 Dragon & Bird England and in script c4742.
The tureen has light crazing, a little minor discolouration inside and a little wear to the gilt. The cover has a little minor wear to the gilt. The stand is in excellent condition.
