Maker: Ridgway  Pattern: Humphreys Clock

Toy vegetable dish from Scenes from Dickens series, originally by William Ridgway and re-introduced as childs china by Ridgways about 1895. Pretty little moulded dish with delightful shell like finial and side handles. Unusually, one scene on the cover has the words Bachelor approaching the School and another on the base has Nell Finds Schoolmaster Reading.
